LORD Help! (Psalm 77)

Meditation on Psalm 77

LORD, give me a voice to cry to YOU.  Help me believe that YOU will hear me.

LORD, there are days of trouble, sorrow, loss, confusion, and suffering and so I come seeking YOU.  Help me not become weary in seeking YOU.  Help my soul not find comfort in other things but YOU.  My spirit moans and my heart faints before YOU.  I come without strength.

YOU keep me seeking YOU.  I have no words to explain the struggles of my soul.  As I consider all that has occurred in my life and where I now stand before YOU, I am bewildered and afraid.

Jesus Christ, Son of God have mercy on me a sinner.

Hear the wild words of my spirit.

LORD, YOU say you love me but I feel unloved.

LORD, YOU have promised my life will bear fruit, but I see so little.

LORD, YOU say I am an object of YOUR grace, yet I feel forgotten.

LORD, YOU are angry at my sins, can I dare hope for YOUR compassion?

MY HOPE is in the HIGH PRIEST JESUS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER.

Great Savior, help me remember YOUR deliverance of YOUR people out of Egypt.

YOU work wonders in order to save.

YOU are mighty to save.

By the blood of the Passover lamb YOU redeemed YOUR  people out of slavery.

YOU walked before them parting the waters of the sea.

Like a flock of sheep YOU led them out of Egypt to YOUR PRESENCE AND POWER.

TRUE PASSOVER LAMB MESSIAH JESUS

Help me remember YOUR leaving heaven to come to earth for me.

YOU suffering for my sins on the cross.

YOUR resurrection from the dead.

When I do not feel loved, open my eyes LORD to YOUR suffering and sacrifice for me.

LORD JESUS,  let me see YOU more clearly , that I may love YOU more dearly, and follow YOU more nearly day by day.

LORD have mercy, Messiah have mercy, LORD have mercy.  Amen
