Prayer For Today
[Isa 51:3 NLT] 3 The LORD will comfort Israel again and have pity on her ruins. Her desert will blossom like Eden, her barren wilderness like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found there. Songs of thanksgiving will fill the air.
LORD, now comfort YOUR people. Have pity on our ruins now. We are in a dry and barren land because of our wandering away from YOU our Savior and KING.
Transform this time of barrenness into a blossoming garden with so much fruitfulness that nothing in all history can compare.
Send a Pentecost of plenty and overflow out of us in fruit that is real, enduring, and life giving.
[Eze 36:33-35, 37 NLT] 33 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I cleanse you from your sins, I will repopulate your cities, and the ruins will be rebuilt. 34 The fields that used to lie empty and desolate in plain view of everyone will again be farmed. 35 And when I bring you back, people will say, 'This former wasteland is now like the Garden of Eden! The abandoned and ruined cities now have strong walls and are filled with people!' … 37 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am ready to hear Israel's prayers and to increase their numbers like a flock.
[Isa 61:4, 10-11 NLT] 4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations. … 10 I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels. 11 The Sovereign LORD will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.
LORD cleanse us of our sins through YOUR blood and revive us so that we can become a source of revival to all the cities of the world. Raise up YOUR people in power and purity and in love and truth. Bring YOUR CHURCH to full maturity and let it become a weapon of redemption breaking down strongholds and all that hinders the impact of YOUR gospel in the world.
Speak the WORD of power and have all Covid vanish from the planet in such a way that all will acknowledge YOUR power to save and do what cannot be explained any other way but a divine intervention in history.
LORD, teach YOUR CHURCH YOUR TRUTH from YOUR Bible so that the foundation of our faith will be stable and solid.
Bring salvation to the children who were raised in the Church, heard the gospel weekly, and saw people pray fervently, sometimes with no results. Yet, their hearts wondered because they could detect imperfections but which has been used to take them into dark roads. Bring back these wandering sheep and allow them to know true faith. Amen
