Trusting God In The Dark

"(10) Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God." [Isaiah 50:10 NLT]"(37) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (38) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. (39) No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Romans 8:37-39 NLT]Lord, there is much darkness. It seems to be over me, under me, and all around me. I can feel like I am drowning in darkness. Help me now remember that YOU are the light and that the darkness does not change who YOU are or YOUR commitment to me.Help me in my confusion and direct me when I don't know how to go forward. Save me from denial and despair. Provide me an assurance that nothing can ever separate me from YOUR love in Christ Jesus. Help me believe fully in YOUR promise of commitment to me. Help me find comfort and strength in YOUR promises.Save me from fear of the painful circumstances of my life, the anxiety about possible painful circumstances in the future, and the lies of the dark lord that would cause me to doubt YOU. Renew my mind and my heart.Give me a fresh wind and fresh fire. Equip me this day to do YOUR will on earth as in heaven. Amen
