Lamentation & Hope

[Lam 1:13, 16, 20 NLT] 13 "He has sent fire from heaven that burns in my bones. He has placed a trap in my path and turned me back. He has left me devastated, racked with sickness all day long. ... 16 "For all these things I weep; tears flow down my cheeks. No one is here to comfort me; any who might encourage me are far away. My children have no future, for the enemy has conquered us." ... 20 "LORD, see my anguish! My heart is broken and my soul despairs, for I have rebelled against you. In the streets the sword kills, and at home there is only death.[Lam 3:20-23 NLT] 20 I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. 21 Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: 22 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. - LORD, we have lost our way. We don't know our right from our left hand. Evil is returned for evil and we do not know our right from our left hand. Save us from ourselves. Send repentance to everyone. Humble us now and be a the HERO that will straighten what is crooked and bring peace where there is only pestilence and war. We have no HOPE but YOU alone. Amen
