Lord, save me!
"But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."" Romans 10:8-13Messiah Jesus, LORD of lords and KING of kings, help me see YOU more clearly this day in my heart and soul. Son of David have mercy upon me. God the Son who became the Son of God, great high priest and advocate for my salvation, help me to be aware of YOUR reality and presence with me now as I pray.Take my creed and confession and turn them into an encounter with YOU, true and living LORD.YOU only YOU are my hope and salvation. Without YOU I am in despair. YOU only YOU have died for my transgressions, been raised from the dead and now are ascended to the heaven of heavens to be my mediator and advocate. YOU have turned the throne of God into a throne of grace for me. Thank you dear Redeemer.Because of YOU I have been declared righteous though all my righteous deeds are filthy rags. Instead of the shame I should face because of my immoral and unloving heart, YOU have given me forgiveness and YOUR own glory.LORD Jesus be my prophet, teach me the truth; be my priest, pay for my sins and intercede for my good; be my king, provide, protect, and rule over me in every aspect of my life. Save me from myself. Save me from the world. Save me from the dark lord that desires to kill, steal, and destroy me. Without YOU LORD Jesus I can do nothing.LORD now deepen my faith, deepen my confession, and deepen my repentance. Give me a clearer vision of YOU today that my love for YOU may increase and that then I will follow YOU with joy. Amen
