How to Handle Mental Illness

What is mental illness?  Mental illness, also called mental health disorders, refers to a wide range of mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behavior. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictive behaviors.

Many people have mental health concerns from time to time. But a mental health concern becomes a mental illness when ongoing signs and symptoms cause frequent stress and affect your ability to function. (Mayo Clinic Definition)

As Christians and people of faith how are we to deal with such experiences both in our own experience and in those we love?   How does God look upon mental illness?

Dr. Norman Wise will present a biblical world view in which to understand mental illness and tools to seek the healing of mental disorders.

If you or one you loved suffers from mental illness or disorders then you will find this seminar of practical help,
