Prayer For Today
[Lam 1:16 NASB] 16 "For these things I weep; My eyes run down with water; Because far from me is a comforter, One who restores my soul. My children are desolate Because the enemy has prevailed."
[Isa 59:14 NASB] 14 Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.
Risen and victorious Messiah Jesus, YOU are our only hope now. The cities are in flames, justice is lost, the plague continues, the mourning seek comfort, the sick struggle to breathe, the homeless grow in number, and chaos seems to rule. LORD, have mercy. Help us now!
[2Ch 7:13-14 NASB] 13 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
LORD, give to us humble hearts, create in us a house of prayer for all nations, provide for us a consuming hunger to have a personal relationship with YOU, and place in us a hatred of evil.
[Hab 3:16-19 NASB] 16 I heard and my inward parts trembled, At the sound my lips quivered. Decay enters my bones, And in my place I tremble. Because I must wait quietly for the day of distress, For the people to arise [who] will invade us. 17 Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, [Though] the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds' [feet,] And makes me walk on my high places.
LORD show me what to do. Lord show us what to do!
[Mic 6:8 NASB] 8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
LORD, have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy. Revive us or we will die! Renew us or we will perish!
Spirit of the Living God come afresh on us!
