I have been created and recreated in Christ's redemption in such a way that there never has been another person like me in the history of humankind nor will there ever be. The Creator and Redeemer has made me an original one of a kind, HIS beloved child that HE treasures
Unconditional Self Worth
26 Then God said, "Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground." 27 So God created human beings in his own image. False Belief One: The Performance Trap
I must meet certain standards to feel good about myself. I fear failure.
These standards may be biblical, my own, my parents, my spouse, my children, my boss, or my culture.
Legalism
Gospel Truth 1: Justification
Because of Justification (being declared legally righteous and not guilty ) based on the life and sacrifice of Christ Jesus alone.
I am completely forgiven by and fully pleasing to God. I no longer must fear failure because HE has said HE who started a good work in me will finish it. If I am justified, I will be glorified.
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to become] conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. ... 33 Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; [Rom 8:29-30, 33 NASB]

False Belief 2: Approval Addict
I must have the approval of certain others to feel good about myself. I live in the fear of rejection by God, spouse, children, family, friends, bosses, co-workers, and others.
Living for the praise of human being.
10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. [Gal 1:10 NASB]
Gospel Truth 2: Reconciliation
I am totally accepted by God because of the life, sacrificial death, and resurrection. I no longer must fear rejection for I will forever have God’s loving embrace.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. [Rom 5:10 NASB]
False Belief 3: The Blame Game
Those who fail (including myself) are unworthy of love and deserve to be punished. This mean that my guilt (moral debt) cannot be paid for and has alienated me from God and made me undeserving of being loved by anyone.
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, ... 3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. [Eph 2:1, 3 NASB]

Because of Propitiation I am deeply loved by God. I no longer must fear punishment or punish others.
False Belief 4: Shame
I am what I am. I cannot change. I am hopeless. I hate who I am and that my future has no potential. I am ashamed to be me.
Gospel Truth 4: Regeneration
Because of regeneration (being born from above, adopted as a child of God, having in seed form the human nature of Christ). I have been made new complete in Christ. I am no longer need to experience the pain of shame but know that I am destined for a meaningful life which will bear fruit to God’s glory
10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. [Eph 2:10 NLT]
